December Students of the Month!

Can you believe its already December?! Me neither! We are so lucky to have such wonderful kids be our December Students of the Month! They are both sweet, kind, and very jolly! Plus their names both start with the letter J! How cool!

Character Counts!

Every week we nominate two students as our Classroom Character Counts. These names are taken and placed into a larger jar where one student is picked to be Hulet's Students of the Week. And even harder still when all names from 2nd Quarter are put into a big box and a student is drawn to win a prize.
To earn the nomination in 2nd quarter, we were looking for those students who are both respectful and caring.

Pattern Block Creations!

The math center is one of the class' favorite places to be! And no wonder! It's where all the creative magic happens! In my center, we have pattern blocks which students can use to make tessellations (repeating patterns using the same shapes) or they can stack and build. Take a look at some of our creations below!
