On March 7th Mrs. Self took our class to the Show Low Auditorium. There we had the privilege of listening to great music performed by an orchestra. In high school, I was in band. I played the flute and oboe. Being able to participate in this field trip was a rare treat! Usually only the 4th graders are invited, but this year we were invited too!!
Research has proven the impact that music has on a child's learning. If they seem interested in playing in band next year, contact the counselors at the Jr. High (or Mrs. Meeks) to see if your child can join!
